Korn preview new material online

Korn have posted a snippet of new track 'Get Up' online.

The Californian metal group's new song takes a step away from the nu-metal sound the band are most recognisable for, showcasing a more electronic sound.

The group revealed in January they were back in the studio working on the follow up to 'Korn III: Remember Who You Are', with singer Jonathan Davis saying he was ready to: "f**k s**it up again".

Guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer explained the sound they were aiming for, saying: "We have probably three songs we wrote two, three months ago.

"They're cool. They kind of remind me a little bit of the Soundgarden style, that sort of Seattle sound, just one of them.

"We're definitely moving forward, we'll probably start recording in April to try and fine-tune this sound we're developing."

Jonathan has previously talked about how making the band's last album, which saw them reunited with producer Ross Robison, who worked with the band on their breakthrough debut album was "an onslaught of mental torture".

He added: "When it comes to doing my art is when I deal with those things in my life and in my head that I need to deal with

When Ross is around, we sit around and talk about stuff, things that are really upsetting me, and then when we're in the studio, he uses that as ammo against me mentally to torment the hell out of me."
