NFL Power Rankings Week 17 ESPN: Tennessee Titans Reclaim Top Spot After Blasting Pittsburgh Steelers
The
Tennessee Titans have reclaimed their spot atop ESPN’s NFL Power Rankings for
Week 17 after blasting the Pittsburg Steelers on Sunday and securing home-field
advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. While the Titans jumped a spot the Steelers
tumbled to #4 but will still have a bye in the AFC playoffs and at least one
home game.
After
falling to #4 a week ago the New York Giants jumped up to #2 with an overtime win
over the Carolina Panthers Sunday night. The win locked up the number one seed
in the NFC playoffs and guaranteed the Giants home-field advantage throughout.
Despite the loss the Panthers held firm at #3 in the NFL Power Rankings for
Week 17.
Following
Pittsburgh who sits at #4 are the Indianapolis Colts who sit at #5 after
locking up the number five seed in the AFC playoffs with a win over the Jacksonville
Jaguars last Thursday night. The Baltimore Ravens bumped up one spot to #6
after a huge road win over the Dallas Cowboys while the Atlanta Falcons jumped
to #7 after locking up a playoff berth with a road win over the Minnesota
Vikings.
