Ryan Reynolds shies away from watching scenes

Ryan Reynolds won't watch his own scenes until they're completely finished.

The 34-year-old actor is starring in superhero movie 'Green Lantern' and says he finds it difficult to detach himself enough to watch his scenes back during the process of filming because so many special effects are involved.

He said: "I've only seen chunks and sections, because I don't like seeing the stuff that's not polished. It's harder for me to step away from it and watch that. "

Despite not knowing what the finished film will look like, the hunk - who plays Hal Jordan , a man who is bestowed superpowers by an intergalactic order known as the Green Lantern Corps - says he is confident in his studio bosses because they spend so much on making sure their movies look perfect.

He continued: "You have to have a lot of faith in your studio. And I look at Warner Bros. and their track record, 'Harry Potter 'and these big tentpole movies - they do such a great job with all of it.

They spend the money, which is what it comes down to really. So you have faith in that regard and you just do whatever you can in the capacity that I have."

Ryan added that as an actor his main concern was depicting his character as best as he can.

He said: "I'm the actor of the movie and I have to bring that to life. That's all I can focus on."
