Jenni Falconer lands This Morning role

Jenni Falconer will take over from Holly Willoughby on 'This Morning'.

Holly, 30, is due to give birth to her second child with husband Dan Baldwin next month and show bosses have lined up the former 'GMTV' presenter to co-host the programme with Phillip Schofield when she goes on leave in two weeks.

Jenni - who announced last month she is expecting her first child with her spouse, the former 'Cutting It' actor James Midgley - said: "I've always been a fan of the show."

She also took to twitter to reveal her delight, writing: "Thanks for the congrats about This Morning-I'm really looking forward to it. X (sic)"

However, she did reveal she has gained quite a lot of weight during her pregnancy and admitted she is worried about hiding it on TV.

She said: "the bump is great -getting bigger by the day! It's not really easy to disguise anymore! well, some days it's small, other days it feels huge! I've gained quite a bit of weight already. (sic)"

Phillip passed on his best wishes to Holly, saying: "I will really miss Holly and wish her a safe delivery."

Ruth Langsford and husband Eamonn Holmes will continue to front the programme on Fridays, while Holly will return to the show later this year.
