Katie Holmes is planning an all-girls tea party to celebrate her daughter's fifth birthday.
The actress' little girl, Suri, turns five on April 18 and Katie - who is married to Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise - is keen to mark the occasion with a fun-filled bash.
Talking about Suri's upcoming birthday, Katie told Ryan Seacrest's KISS-FM show: "She wants a pinata and her girlfriends to come over and go swimming. We're gonna make a cake together!
"We're gonna have a little tea party. I kind of like to girl it up!"
As well as planning for Suri's big day, Katie is currently promoting her new TV mini-series, 'The Kennedys' - in which she takes on the role of former First Lady Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis - and says filming it was very inspiring, especially when it came to dressing like her alter-ego.
She said: "What we tried to achieve with the mini-series was showing the human side of ... we set out to almost make it, almost like a Greek tragedy.
"We also created a lot of her looks - yeah, it was really fun. I still look to her fashion today and it inspires what I wear."
