A contestant on 'Push The Button' has named his son after the show's co-host Declan Donnelly.
Richard Humphrey, 22, missed the birth of his baby because he was taking part in the ITV 1 programme - where families work together to win a jackpot of £100,000 - and after Dec announced live on the show that his partner Stacey had given birth, Richard revealed he and Stacey decided to call their son after him.
Dec - who co-hosts the show with presenting partner Ant McPartlin - said: "Rich has just become a dad. At two minutes to seven Stacey gave birth to a little baby boy so congratulations."
Richard said: "I called Stacey and we both said he should be named Declan."
Dec later revealed his joy at the news, saying: "I'm touched that they're calling him Declan."
Richard and his family were returning winners after receiving £62,320 the previous week but did not progress any further in the game show.
The series two finale of 'Push The Button' aired on Saturday (02.04.11) and Ant and Dec are now preparing for the new series of 'Britain's Got Talent' which they also present.
They wrote on their blog last week: "So after Saturday's series final it's 'Britain's Got Talent' time! We haven't seen any of it yet but can tell you that it feels really fresh and different so we're excited about the start of the series. And we're looking forward to seeing the acts YouTube has found at the auditions on Sunday."
