Santa Claus Massacre in Los Angeles Leaves at least 8 Dead

The death toll in a Christmas party massacre at a suburban Los Angeles home has risen to eight and could still rise as officials begin to sift through the ashes of the home that was torched by a man dressed as Santa Claus.

Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, upset over a bitter divorce with his wife, dressed as Santa Claus and entered a party at the Covina home of his former in-laws and opened fire on at least 25 people.

After unloading several rounds on the guests Pardo then set the house ablaze before leaving. He was found hours later at his brother’s house where he took his own life with a single shot from a gun.
