Justin Eilers, MMA Fighter, Shot and Killed in Idaho

Justin Eilers, a professional fighter in the MMA circuit, was shot and killed at a friend’s house in Canyon County, Idaho on Friday. Eilers was 30-year-old.

Eilers had been visiting relatives at the house but began arguing with an ex-girlfriend who had been at the house. According to witnesses Eilers was asked to leave and he began throwing dishes at which time the owner of the house pulled a gun and shot him in the chest.

Emergency workers arrived at the house shortly after the shooting but Eilers was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police arrested James Robert Malec and have charged him with second-degree murder.
