NFL Scores Week 17: Indianapolis Colts Blank Tennessee Titans for Ninth Straight Win

Peyton Manning was 7/7 for 95 yards and a touchdown in limited action, Jim Sorgi came on for Manning and was 22/30 for 178 yards and the Indianapolis Colts (12-4) defense limited the Tennessee Titans (13-3) offense to just 125 total yards and 8 first downs in a 23-0 blanking on Sunday.

Manning took care of his business in the first quarter as he hit Joseph Addai on a 55-yard touchdown pass while Adam Vinatieri added a 28-yard field goal to give the Colts a 10-0 lead heading into the second frame.

Vinatieri provided the only points of the second quarter with a pair of field goals and Indianapolis held a 16-0 lead at the half.

Neither offense showed much in the second half and it was the Colts defense that contributed to the only score as Jamey Richard recovered a fumble in the endzone in the fourth.

Both teams had already wrapped up a playoff spot and were locked into their positions with the Titans holding the number one seed while the Colts are holding the number five seed.
