Willie Parker rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown, Hines ward had 70 yards on six receptions and the Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) defense held the Cleveland Browns (4-12) offense to just 126 total yards and eight first downs in a 31-0 blowout on Sunday, ending the Browns season with eight straight quarters without a point.
After a scoreless first quarter the Steelers grabbed control of the game in the second as Parker scored on a 34-yard run and the Byron Leftwich, playing for Ben Roethlisberger who left the game with a concussion, scored on an 8-yard keeper and Pittsburgh was up 14-0 at the half.
Jeff Reed extended the lead to 17-0 in the third quarter with a 22-yard field goal and in the fourth Gary Russell added a 3-yard touchdown run and Tyrone Carter returned an interception 32-yards for a TD to wrap up the scoring.
Pittsburgh had already secured a bye and enter the AFC playoffs as the number two seed.
