NFL Scores Week 17: Baltimore Ravens Lock Up Final Wild Card Spot with Win Over Jacksonville Jaguars

Joe Flacco was 17/23 passing for 297 yards, Le’Ron McClain collected 67 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns, Mark Clayton had 128 yards receiving and the Baltimore Ravens (11-5) defense forced four turnovers to pound the Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11) 27-7 on Sunday to lock up the final wild card position in the AFC playoffs.

Baltimore grabbed a 3-0 lead in the opening quarter with a Matt Stover field goal but the Jaguars quickly took the lead as David Garrard found Alvin Pearman on a 23-yard touchdown pass for the 7-3 advantage.

The Ravens took over the game in the second quarter though as McClain scored on a 5-yard run, Willis McGahee found the endzone on a 13-yard run and McClain added his second TD of the game on a one-yard burst to give Baltimore a commanding 24-4 advantage at the half.

Stover provided the only points of the second half with a 41-yard field goal in the third quarter as the Ravens defense did the rests as the Jaguars had absolutely no offense to answer the Baltimore scoring.
