Tea Partiers Show Support for Donald Trump 2012

By: Daun Lee

There has been no word on whether Donald Trump plans to run for President in 2012 but he sure does keep bringing up Obama’s birth certificate. Almost every time he makes public appearance, and on his show “Celebrity Apprentice”, the Donald keeps bringing up the issue opponents used to try to win the 2008 election. The Tea Party which began around the 2008 elections is growing in numbers and, speculated to be the part of the Republican caucus holding up budget talks that may shutdown the government Friday at midnight.

The Tea Party is opposed to the current tax rates. Trump is happy to have their approval if he decides to run as the Republican candidate in 2012, 20 percent of the Tea Party would back him, according to CBS news. It is doubtful that anyone, Republican, Democrat or tax lawyers, thinks our current tax code is efficient and would also agree there needs to be reform.

For the individual and a small business that can’t afford high priced accountants, the current tax code can be very confusing, leading to errors in their tax returns. When a mistake is made on federal tax returns, a tax attorney becomes a needed ally. The penalties and fines levied against the tax payer for a mistake can be overwhelming. A tax lawyer works for the person who unwittingly errs on their returns; they can also aid people who have evaded their taxes for whatever personal reason.
