When a person likes something on Facebook or post links to their pages they are helping their friends find valuable information. The effort is to curtail the amount of spam a person encounters when searching the web for information.

Google has increased its efforts to reduce spam and by employing data from social media and the input from users, some people will find better results. Google is frequently employed by SEO optimization which can drastically improve the presence of a business on the internet.
