Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton are as "normal as they can possibly be" according to Princess Diana's bridesmaid India Hicks.
Model and author India was part of the wedding party when William's parents Diana and Prince Charles married and while she has fond memories of the day she thinks William and Kate's big day will be much more intimate because they are such a "down-to-earth couple".
She explained: "St Paul's Cathedral held 3,500 guests, whereas Westminster Abbey holds about 1,800 so it will feel much smaller. Inevitably it's going to have a more modern feel because times have changed and they are a more mature and modern couple - they've lived together and are as normal as they can possibly be. Everything we've seen shows they're a down-to-earth, strong couple."
India also believes Kate's decision to include William's seven-year-old cousin Lady Louise Windsor, his three-year-old goddaughter Grace Van Cutsem, his step-mother Camilla's granddaughter Eliza Lopes, three and Duchess of Viscount Linley's daughter Margarita, eight, in her bridal party will give the day a "warm family feel".
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Two of the bridesmaids are only three years old, but it makes the event very human. It always gives a warm, family feel to have little ones around."
