An 85-year-old British man has sailed across the Atlantic on a raft made of pipes.
Anthony Smith achieved his lifelong dream by completing the 2,800 mile voyage in 66 days, going between the Canary Islands and the Caribbean.
The grandfather, who was joined by a crew of three who responded to a newspaper advert he posted, said he did it to show a person's age shouldn't limit their aspirations.
He said: "Some people say it was mad. But it wasn't mad. What else do you do when you get on in years?"
"How many people do you know who have rafted across the Atlantic? The word mutiny was only spoken about two or three times a day."
