Chris Paul Considering Joining Bobcats

New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul said Tuesday that he will consider joining the Charlotte Bobcats in 2012.

"It would definitely be something to think about," said Paul. "But right now it's all about trying to win a championship here with the Hornets."

Paul is particularly attracted to the franchise because Michael Jordan owns the team and would thus presumably have some influence on the team.

"I think guys do and will want to play for MJ," Paul said. "Who better to learn from?"

But for now, Paul is simply trying to play the best he can as a member of the Hornets.

"I'm one of those people who tries to stay in the moment," said Paul.
