New York Knicks star Amare Stoudemire is suffering a sprained right ankle and may not play again until the playoffs come around.
Stoudemire will sit out during the Knicks' Tueday night game against the Chicago Bulls. It will be his third straight missed game.
According to Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni, Amare is not 100 percent, but there is still a possibility that he will play in the team's final regular season game against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
D'Antoni says that Amare will be ready for the first game of the playoff series against the Celtics, which will take place on either Saturday or Sunday.
