Emmerdale's Emma Atkins' on set giggles

'Emmerdale's Emma Atkins sometimes gets the giggles so bad on set she can't complete a scene.

The actress - who stars as Charity Tate in the Yorkshire-based soap - often has parts with Charley Webb (Debbie Dingle) and Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle), and sometimes the group laugh so hard filming has to be stopped.

She told Closer magazine: "Me, Charley and Jeff get the giggles on set all the time and recently it turned into this embarrassing situation where I couldn't actually do the scene.

"The more we panicked about getting it done, the worse it got. I just couldn't shake myself out of it."

Although she spends a lot of time on the set of the ITV1 soap, Emma still enjoys watching other TV shows, in particular 'Got To Dance' with Davina McCall.

She said: "I loved watching all the dancers and I loved the comments from the judges. It was quite moving too - I ended up crying when I saw the talented young kids do so well."
