Sugar Ray Leonard became the latest celebrity to be voted off 'Dancing with the Stars' last night (12.04.11).
The former boxing champion and his professional partner Anna Trebunskaya found themselves in the bottom two alongside Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas after failing to impress the viewers and judges with their Viennese Waltz, and it was then announced he was the next person to leave.
Speaking of his time on the show, Sugar Ray said: "That's life. I put up a good fight and I would cherish this moment. Great friends, great people, great show.
"I love the spirit of the show, the people and what the show means, represents and stands for."
Anna said of her partner: "He never danced before, was trained to do something completely different, and came out there every single right with grace and enthusiasm and showmanship. I think some of the other people on the show need to learn from this guy and then they'll do fine." Sugar Ray is heavily involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and says being involved in the show has helped raise awareness for the charity.
He said: "Doing this show has given me a little bit more celebrity to raise awareness and raise funds."
Other stars still in with a chance of taking home the coveted glitterball trophy include Kirstie Alley and Kendra Wilkinson.
