Stacey Solomon admits being a TV presenter is "harder than it looks".

The 'I'm A Celebrity.Get Me Out Of Here!' star is the co-host of new ITV1 show 'Sing If You Can' - which sees two celebrity teams try to perform hits while taking on distracting challenges - and admits she is struggling with her new role because there's so much to learn.

She said: "It's harder than it looks. I have had about 100 people helping me and telling me how to say things - it's really technical.

"Wearing an earpiece is funny because you can hear everyone else's conversations."

The show - which is co-hosted comedian Keith Lemon - will see stars singing while taking on challenges involving fire, creepy crawlies and other distractions but insiders aren't sure if viewers will take to it.

One said: "It really is mad. There are pits of snakes, fireworks and all sorts while the celebs sing, so it is funny watching them perform. But whether it is too cheesy for British TV remains to be seen.

"It will certainly get talked about but we've no idea if it will be for the right reasons."

Keith says one of the highlights of the series is Chesney Hawkes' performance of Kasabian's 'Fire'.

He explained to the Daily Mirror newspaper: Chesney Hawkes sings 'Fire' by Kasabian in a fake volcano, with real fire shooting out. He looked as if he'd been barbecued down a coal mine."

'Sing If You Can' starts on ITV1 on Saturday (16.04.11).

Vernon Kay was originally meant to present the show but pulled out after realising the programme was too "wacky" when he shot the pilot.
