A toddler was accidentally served an alcoholic cocktail instead of apple juice in a US restaurant.
Dominic Dill-Reese, 15 months, was having a meal in an Applebee's when his mother Taylor noticed he was acting strangely.
When she tasted his drink she realised he had been given a margarita mix and rushed him to hospital where he was found to have enough alcohol in his blood to be over the adult drink-drive limit.
She said: "He was saying hi and bye to the walls. He eventually laid his head down on the table and we thought maybe he was just sleepy."
The diner released a statement saying staff were being retrained and it had changed its policy for serving apple juice.
It added: "We also want to apologise to his parents, for the stress and worry this caused them."
