Jessie J's stage lessons for Encore

Jessie J has taught Encore the value of stage presence.

The up-and-coming band - comprising Pierre Jermaine, Cairo Benn and Mark Asari - have been supporting the 'Do It Like a Dude' hitmaker on her UK tour and have learned a lot from watching the singer perform to a crowd.

They said: "We watched a lot of Jessie's shows and we have learnt the value of stage presence and how to connect with the audience. She puts on an incredible show and is so talented. We look up to Jessie.

We got to hang out with her towards the end of the tour, we hung out in her dressing room, had jokes and had a chat about how her life has changed. She told us that she was excited about going to New York."

The 'One' singers are particularly pleased that their appearance on the tour has won over more new fans for them, particularly in Ireland.

They added to BANG Showbiz: "Dublin has been the best night so far because we had an overwhelming response from the crowd. The crowd were great and were singing along to our songs which was great, was just a good show."

Encore's new single 'The One' is out now. For more from the band, a free sampler mixed by Radio 1xtra's CJ Beatz is available on SoundCloud.
