Scottish BGT auditions were disappointing

'Britain's Got Talent' judges David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre think Scotland has no talent.

When the panelists visited Glasgow - where global singing sensation Susan Boyle first tried out for the programme in 2009 - for auditions on the ITV1 talent show they were left less than impressed, with the comedian revealing most acts were booed off stage and the former 'Baywatch' star admitting he failed to understand contestants' native accents.

Michael said: "The acts weren't great. The audience were restless and chanted 'Cheerio, cheerio' when they didn't like an act - that was chanted a lot."

David added: "I didn't have a clue what they were trying to do. I didn't understand a word they said."

Even the third panelist Amanda Holden - who is in past series has been known as the kindest of the judges - confessed that she wasn't excited by anything she saw north of the border, apart from when they left auditions.

She joked: "We had great fun up there. in the hotel in the evening."

Meanwhile, Michael revealed that the show's boss Simon Cowell has been very much involved in the show, calling him every day to make sure everything is running smoothly.

However, the 35-year-old comic was caught out when one of the calls came after he had a few too many drinks.

He said: "It was my wife's birthday and I was in Venice. I'd had 917 Bellini cocktails. But he loved it."
