Working on the Road or Workamping Both Earns and Saves Money

Earn money for your RV travels using Workamper expert Jaimie Hall Bruzenak's proven process for finding a job in this first-ever Workamper University Webinar

Getting that first job is the focus of Workamper University's first course for RVers, Workamping 101: Getting Your First Workamper Job.  Workamper University is being provided by Workamper expert Jaimie Hall Bruzenak, in association with Workamper News, Inc. The six-session course, beginning on January 24, 2009, will be held using Workamper.com's Webinar system. Participants will both see and hear the presentation using their computer screen to see the instructor and visuals, and their telephone to listen and speak. Classes will be recorded so participants can listen and watch at their convenience if they miss a live session.

Go to www.workamper.com/university/workamper101 for complete curriculum, class hours and dates, tuition and list of free bonuses to participants.

Instead of spending money to travel, RVers who work on the road (also known as Workampers) can earn money to pay their living expenses and add to their savings. Working or volunteering on the road can also reduce expenses. Some jobs provide a free or reduced-cost RV site, and workers spend less on fuel and entertainment since they are in one place. Workers may also get valuable perks.

Bruzenak will lead participants through a process that will enable them to:  identify what they have to offer Workamper employers and discover why they are valuable;  discover what they want in a job and identify 20 or more potential employers and learn how to research them;  figure out how much money they need and have the tools to evaluate a job offer to compute real compensation;  translate past experience and skills into a dynamite Workamping resume that attracts Workamper employers;  learn how to identify those employers and to ask the right questions.

Bruzenak has authored many books about the Workamping lifestyle, written articles for Workamper News magazine, as well as presenting previous Webinars.  Reviewing a previous Webinar, current Workampers Barb and Tom said, "After sitting back and reviewing my experience (and initial trepidation) in taking part in a Webinar, I want to now say it was easy, and I learned a lot. I am now in the process of updating and redoing our resume based on what I learned in the Webinar. I would not hesitate to take part in another one. Thanks for the special help you provide us in 'selling ourselves.'"

Workampers have many possibilities for working on the road. Many people think RVers are strictly camp hosts, but that is only one possibility. RVers work in RV parks, national and state parks, amusement and theme parks to name just a few of the hundreds of different ways money can be earned on the road. In her book, Support Your RV Lifestyle! An Insider's Guide to Working on the Road, Bruzenak lists more than 350 different ways. "That's just a drop in the bucket. There are many fun and interesting ways to make money," said Bruzenak.
