Britain's Prince William has invited his Royal Air Force (RAF) co-workers to his wedding to Kate Middleton.
The future king - who is an RAF search and rescue pilot - is set to tie the knot at London's Westminster Abbey on April 29 and while celebrities, dignitaries and other royals are all on the guestlist, William has made sure his crew members at RAF Valley are also included.
Flight commander Iain 'Spike' Wright - who is William's line manager - said: "It's a great honour. I didn't expect it. Then I relaxed and thought 'This is actually going to be quite good fun.'"
Flight lieutenant Thomas 'Sticky' Bunn said: "First of all, I couldn't believe it. My wife certainly couldn't. When that envelope drops through the door with a Buckingham Palace stamp on it, it's not something you see every day."
The men also spoke highly of William, with Thomas saying: "He's a really nice guy to have in the squadron."
Iain added: "He is a natural. He just seems to be able to cope with everything we throw at him."
While they are going to the wedding, William and his work pals were turned away from a restaurant at the weekend because they hadn't booked a table.
The group turned up at the Seacroft pub in Anglesey but were told they couldn't cope with extra guests so owners organised for them to visit a nearby hotel for dinner.
