Kate Middleton to spend night before wedding with family

Kate Middleton will spend the night prior to her wedding to Britain's Prince William at London's Goring Hotel.

The 29-year-old beauty will be joined by members of her immediate family at the hotel and will leave for Westminster Abbey at precisely 10:51am on the morning of April 29 ahead of the 11am ceremony.

A statement on the official royal wedding website revealed: "Miss Catherine Middleton, accompanied by her immediate family, will spend the night before the wedding at the Goring Hotel. This was the Middleton family's personal choice."

Initial guests at the wedding will arrive at the Great North Door of Westminster Abbey between 08:15am and 09:45am, while Kate's mother Carole and brother James will be at the historic venue at 10:27am.

Queen Elizabeth and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh will be among the last people to arrive at the Abbey prior to the arrival of Kate.

Guests for the reception are expected to arrive at Buckingham Palace from 12:40pm, ahead of an appearance by William and Kate on the balcony at 13:25pm.

A fly past from the Royal Air Force and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will commence at 13.30pm.
