Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Crown Princess Mary have announced the names of their twins.
The babies were born on January 8 and christened yesterday (14.04.11) and in keeping with Danish tradition their names - Prince Vincent Frederik Minik Alexandre, and Princess Josephine Sofia Ivalu Mathilda - were kept under wraps until the ceremony.
The twins - who join the couple's other children Prince Christian, five, and Princess Isabella, three - were christened at Holmen's Church in central Copenhagen using a silver baptismal font which dates back to the 1600s and has been used to christen all Danish royal children since 1671.
After the ceremony, which was broadcast live on Danish TV, the royals hosted a reception at the Amalienborg Palace, followed by a banquet style dinner for family and friends.
Traditionally Danish royals have four names and no surname. Their initials are always important, but extra care is needed when there are four letters involved. Danish kings alternate between Frederik and Christian.
After their birth at Copenhagen's Rigshospitalet, Prince Frederik dubbed the latest additions to his family "double trouble" but a "miracle times two."
