Portland Orgeon Mail Carrier Caught On Film Defacting In Yard
A U.S. postal carrier in Portland, Oregon was suspended after he was filmed on camera taking a bathroom break in a citizen's yard.
Don Derfler said he was waiting for his child's babysitter to arrive at his home last week, when he noticed his pith-helmeted postman snooping around behind his neighbor's trash cans.
When the mailman dropped his knickers, Derfler grabbed up his camera.
In the photos, the unidentified mailman is seen squatting in some bushes behind a house and then pulling his pants up and hurrying away.
"We trust people like the postal service and meter readers and people of that nature. To come on to our property and to defecate - it's just wrong." Said Derfler
Derfler shot pictures of the mailman's special delivery to his neighbor, and sent them to the post office.
Post Office officials said the doo doo dropping mail carrier had been suspended without pay while it reviewed the incident.
"Why an individual like this would ever make a decision to do something that is just beyond common sense and reason, I don't have an explanation for this individual," said postal service spokesman Ron Anderson.
