Spartan Motors, Inc. (SPAR) Subsidiary Receives $3 Million Subcontract

Spartan Motors subsidiary Spartan Chassis announced it has received a subcontract order worth over $3 million to integrate and deliver key chassis components for RG-33 Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. It is anticipated that the vehicles will be delivered in the second and third quarters of 2011.

Spartan has delivered on multiple subcontract orders in the past to support the production of advanced tactical vehicles under the Iraqi Light Armored Vehicle (ILAV), MRAP and Medium Mine Protected Vehicle (MMPV) programs. The company also continues its support of MRAP prime contractors, and the U.S. Government, by providing spare and replacement parts.
