Model Liskula Cohen Sues Google Over Blogger’s Criticism

Model Liskula Cohen has filed a defamation suit against Google after a blogger posted a message labeling her a “skank” and an “old hag” on the search engine’s Blogger.com service. Cohen is demanding that Google reveal the identity of the blogger who slammed her online.

“It’s petty, it’s stupid and it’s pathetic. And when I do find out who did this, at least I’ll know who my enemies are,” Cohen says.

The anonymous blogger calls Cohen, who made headlines last year when a doorman at a popular Manhattan spot hit her in the face with a vodka bottle, a desperate “fortysomething” who “may have been hot 10 years ago.” They also label her the “#1 skanky superstar.”

The Vogue cover girl’s lawyer, Steven Wagner, admits that identifying the blogger could be difficult but insists that the person responsible should face consequences. “We think we have a case. This is libelous, it’s defamatory and you shouldn’t just get away with this,” says Wagner.

Cohen, 36, has previously modeled for Giorgio Armani and Versace. She added that jealousy may be behind the verbal attacks. “I’m tall, I’m blond, I’ve been modeling for many years, and people get jealous. If I had to deal with everyone who is jealous, I wouldn’t have time to do anything else,” she said.
