PostcardMania celebrates Earth Day and announces results of report done by Accurate Paper Recycling: In 2010, the company recycled approximately 1,366,720 pounds of paper.

According to the report, thanks to its recycling program, the Clearwater-based direct mail marketing company saved the equivalent of:

  • 11,167 Trees
  • 4,783,520 Gallons of Water
  • 259,677 Gallons of Oil

The report quoted a spokesperson from the company:

"We definitely take on green initiatives. We also use environmentally-friendly, vegetable-oil based ink. Our inks are fully biodegradable and recyclable. All our color and black inks have the same standards as food packaging labels."

The company hopes to exceed these numbers in 2011 and continue to be a positive force in an industry criticized for its paper waste.
