U.S. President-Elect Barack Obama to Attend White House Lunch with Former Presidents

U.S. President-elect Barack Obama will be attending a White House lunch on Wednesday at which he will meet with former Presidents Bill Clinton, George HW Bush, Jimmy Carter and current President George W Bush, the host of the event.

Obama reportedly suggested the lunch idea and Bush readily agreed to the meeting.

The two are also expected to hold a private conversation in which they will discuss the current situation in the Gaza Strip and the economic problems the U.S. is facing.

Obama will assume office when he is sworn in on January 20 in Washington, D.C.
