While releasing the calendars from their Art Contest, PostcardMania CEO Joy Gendusa is continuing to present the winning artists one by one in her weekly newsletter to her 80,000 email-database – the 9th artist just recently released. The judging process was a blind one, ensuring no one had any idea who had submitted each piece in order to keep it unbiased. The result? A great mix of art pieces from PostcardMania employees, customers & even prospects, celebrating the Holidays and New Year with economy yet with their imitable style.
The 9th featured artist is Jennifer Bruwer, PostcardMania Sales & Marketing Consultant.
Jennifer Bruwer was born in California surrounded by the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. She was given her first camera at age 13 and soon realized that she had a gift of seeing the patterns and details in nature. Her love for photography escalated in high school where she took a photography class using a Rolleicord camera.
In the 70’s she was inspired by music and would spend much time admiring the photography and designs on album covers. Her favorite magazine was National Geographic, and yearned to travel to these far-away lands.
In the mid -80’s Vivian studied industrial arts at San Diego State University and then set out to acquire an education that you couldn’t get in a classroom. Traveling throughout Europe and the Middle East, she has documented her travels in the hopes that her pictures would inspire others to travel.
