The judging process was a blind one, ensuring no one had any idea who had submitted each piece in order to keep it unbiased. The result? Carmen Cordelia was born in Santa Rosa, California in November of 1987. She began drawing and painting voluminously at age 4. She bought her first camera when she was 14 and saw her photos published shortly thereafter. Her commercial photo credits numbered more than a thousand before she had turned 17. She is a self-taught Adobe Photoshop expert and has combined this skill with a pronounced artistic vision to create stunning, other-worldly landscapes.
