The Chicago Bulls have listed star player Derrick Rose as questionable for Game 5 against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.
On Sunday, Rose underwent an MRI that revealed the 23-year-old point guard has a sprained left ankle.
Rose twisted his ankle during the first quarter of Game 4 on Saturday. The Bulls went on to lose the game but are still leading the series 3-1.
"I just took off wrong and my weight just pushed over my ankle and it ended up twisting," said Rose after the game.
Even though Rose skipped practice on Monday, Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau says that he is optimistic that Rose will be able to play in Tuesday's game.
"He's feeling a little better," said Thibodeau on Monday. "Hopefully he'll be able to go tomorrow."
Bulls guard C.J. Watson also seems optimistic about Rose's being able to play.
"I think he's probably, pretty sure, 100 percent going to play," said Watson. "He's probably just a little sore. I'm sure he's going to play on Tuesday, though."
