Rebecca Black, who became an overnight sensation for her song 'Friday' and its YouTube music video, says that she does not want to be known simply as the 'Friday' girl.

In an interview for the Associated Press, Black said, "I don't want to be known as the `Friday' girl. Hopefully, I can be known as Rebecca Black and not the `Friday' girl."

The 13-year-old added, "I want to be a performing artist. That's what I've always wanted to do."

Black's music video for 'Friday' currently has over 119 million views on YouTube.
