Earthquake Rocks Costa Rica, Residents Rush into Streets for Safety

A magnitude-6.2 earthquake has struck Costa Rica, causing residents to flee their homes and buildings and look for safety on streets and open areas.

The earthquake hit just northwest of the capital San Jose at a depth of 17 miles.

There have been no reports of injuries or significant damage.
