FBI Warns of Inauguration Terror Threat, New Book Sounded Warning Bell

Homeland Insecurity Tolled Alarm

The report by The Associated Press, on Wednesday about the FBI indicating greater vulnerability to the American citizenry gathering in Washington for the inauguration of Barack Obama, moves the new book Homeland Insecurity into greater prominence and strategic positioning in the coordinated display at the Washington DC airport gift stores and bookshops. It is reported also that Barnes and Noble has increased inventory in the Washington DC area

Homeland Insecurity by  Terry D. Turchie and Dr. Kathleen Puckett, retired from the FBI, focus on how the infra-structure in Washington D.C and, in effect, across the nation, has been altered to benefit the power platforms of  fourteen Washington politicians resulting in demonstrated opportunities for terrorists such as the Al-Quida attack on the U.S.S. Cole on Oct. 10, 2000.

Homeland Insecurity was chosen by Trofie Productions of Sausalito, California, the firm arranging the “Everything Obama,” celebration event in the Washington DC airport, to represent President-Elect Obama’s national security concerns.

Mr. Turchie, a noted anti-terrorism expert, was the FBI Unit Director who led the final pursuit and capture of Ted Kaczynski the infamous Unabomber and was a Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI. Dr. Puckett, a clinical psychologist, was a founder of the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Program. They were both recipients of the Attorney General's Award for Distinguished Service and the co-authors of the award winning Hunting the American Terrorist, the account of the final pursuit and capture of Ted Kaczynski

Homeland Insecurity 9781933909332, History Publishing Company, Sept. 25, 2008, is available at Barnes and Noble Booksellers  nationally and other fine bookstores and gift shops.
