'Two and a Half Men' Being Planned Without Sheen

Producer Chuck Lorre Planning Sheen-less Show

Chuck Lorre, the producer and creator of 'Two and a Half Men' is reportedly planning to keep the show alive without Charlie Sheen, who was fired from the show in March.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lorre has presented associates and Sheen's co-star Jon Cryer with his plan, and the studio and networks know of Lorre's intentions.

An insider told THR that the revamped show would involve a significant role for Cryer and for the actor who would replace Sheen.

Sheen, who is suing Lorre and Warner Brothers for $100 million, has repeatedly expressed his desire to return to the show. But Lorre is reportedly uninterested, and sources say Warner Brothers is rather adamant about not having Sheen back.

There is no official word on when the show might return or even if it will return at all, but industry speculation is that the show will almost certainly return for a ninth season.

Among the actors who have been rumored to be the future replacement of Sheen are Bob Saget, Woody Harrelson, Jeremy Piven, John Stamos, and Rob Lowe.
