Phoenix Kiosk and MedApps Partner To Create the HealthCare Gateway Portal

Integrated System Will Be Showcased at the 2011 ATA Conference

Phoenix Kiosk Inc., a leading kiosk design and manufacturing company, and partner MedApps Inc., a leading mHealth (mobile/remote health monitoring) company, announced today that they will be showcasing their Personal Health Station & Smart Card System at the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) conference May 1-3, 2011 in Tampa, FL. This collaborative effort between the two companies will merge multiple cutting-edge technologies into one enhanced solution.

Phoenix Kiosk is providing the Personal Health Station, which consists of the Health Kiosk™ outfitted with a blood pressure cuff, weight scale and printer for real-time biometric reports.  MedApps is providing its cloud-based connectivity platform, CloudCare™, to support an integrated Kiosk / Smart Card System to transmit acquired health data to a user’s electronic health record (EHR).  Biometric data can be collected and stored to a smart card, onsite at the Health Kiosk location, or remotely by utilizing MedApps’ Health Reader™, which connects to the users’ personal health monitors at home.  Each option uses, Phoenix Kiosk’s health station as the upload or connectivity point.
