NFL Playoffs Scores: Baltimore Ravens Advance to AFC Championship Game with Win Over Tennessee Titans

Joe Flacco threw for 161 yards and a touchdown, Derrick Mason had 78 yards receiving and a TD and Matt Stover kicked a 43-yard field goal with 53 seconds left in the game to lift the Baltimore Ravens past the Tennessee Titans 13-10 on Saturday to advance to the AFC Championship game where they will face the winner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Diego Chargers game next week.

Despite outgaining the Ravens 391-211 and having the ball for more than nine minutes longer the Titans turned the ball over three times

Tennessee struck first when Chris Johnson scored on an 8-yard run in the first quarter but the Ravens answered on their next drive when Flacco hooked up with Mason on a 48-yard touchdown pass to even the score at 7-7 in the opening frame.

Both defenses took over from there and it wasn’t until early in the fourth quarter that the Ravens grabbed the lead when Stover hit from 21 yards out. With 4:23 left in the game Rob Bironas tied the score at 10-10 when he split the uprights from 27 yards out.

Flacco then led Baltimore on the game-winning drive, setting up Stover for the 43-yard field goal with 53 seconds on the clock.
