Appearing
on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday morning Roy Krunk, the Orlando utility
worker who discovered the remains of 2-year-old Caylee Anthony, once again
stated he had no involvement in the toddler’s death.
Caylee’s
mother, Casey Anthony, 22, remains jailed awaiting trial on first-degree murder
charges. She has denied any involvement in her daughter’s death and has
maintained that she left Caylee with a babysitter and when she returned to pick
her up both were gone.
That
was in June but Casey Anthony didn’t report Caylee missing for a month and investigators
quickly dismissed her story.
After
months of searching for Caylee it was Krunk who uncovered her remains last
month in a wooded area near the Orlando home where she lived. Krunk had made
calls to police in August telling them about the area and a suspicious bag.
Krunk
told GMA, “If you were going to get rid of something like that … it would have
been a great place to hide it.” There are many who suspect Krunk of being
involved in the case yet he has denied any connection and has said he never had
contact with the Anthony family.
