LeBron James recorded his second triple-double of the season with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, Delonte West added 19 points and 6 boards and Mo Williams finished with 16 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers (30-6) cruised past the Memphis Grizzlies (11-27) 102-87 on Tuesday night for their third straight win.
The Cavaliers started the game on a 7-0 run but the Grizzlies countered with a 7-0 run of their own before Cleveland finished the opening frame with a 26-20 advantage. Cleveland extended their lead to nine points in the second but Hakim Warrick pulled the Grizzlies to within four but Daniel Gibson hit a triple and LeBron pushed the lead to ten with a dunk. Memphis closed the half on an 11-4 spurt to trail 47-44.
Memphis managed to stay close in the opening minutes of the third but LeBron put 17 points on the board in the frame and Cleveland was in control 76-66 heading into the fourth. In the final frame Cleveland extended their lead to as many as 21 points, never allowing the Grizzlies a chance to get back in the game.
Cleveland finished the game 12-21 from beyond the three-point line while Memphis hit just 1-8 from the same distance.
