The
Casey Anthony defense team has added a noted forensic anthropologist to their list
of experts and he will be reviewing reports on the evidence of skeletal remains
found in a wooded area of Orlando.
Scott
Fairgrieve, chair of Forensic Science at Laurentian University in Ontario, has
said he will be providing lead attorney Jose Baez with analysis of reports
dealing with the search and recovery of the skeletal evidence.
Casey
Anthony is currently facing first-degree murder charges in the death of her 2-year-old
daughter Caylee Anthony. The remains of Caylee Anthony were discovered less
than a half mile from the Orlando home she lived in with her mother and
grandparents.
Caylee
disappeared in June but her mother didn’t report her missing for more than a
month. Casey denied any involvement in the disappearance and has maintained
that she dropped Caylee off with a babysitter and when she returned both were
gone.
