US Airways Commuter Jet Crashes into Hudson River

A US Airways commuter jet has crashed into the Hudson River in New York and there are reports of passengers standing on the wings of the plane.

Ferries and members of the New York Port Authority have reached the jet and are in the process of rescuing passengers.

The temperature in New York is below freezing making the response time all the more critical. There have been no reports of injuries or deaths or a case to what put the US Airways jet into the Hudson River.
