A deadly shooting late Tuesday night in a parking garage on the campus of San Jose State University is being investigated as a murder-suicide, California authorities announced Wednesday. The shooting left three people, including the suspected gunman, dead.
The shooting occurred on the fifth floor of the parking garage around 8:30 p.m. Campus police dispatcher Adam Belsey said two people were pronounced dead at the scene. The third person, who is believed to be the shooter, died after being transported to a nearby hospital.
The names of the dead have not been released. It is unclear if any of them were students at San Jose State University.
