Freedom Center Offers Recovery Tools In Alcohol And Drug Rehabilitation That Traditional Facilities Do Not

Typically, Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation begins with the process of detoxifying and cleansing the individual’s body of the substance they have been addicted to.  It can be a very lengthy process depending on how severe the client’s addiction is.  There is nothing easy or pleasurable about this stage of the treatment and recovery process and is oftentimes a painfully harsh experience for anyone who has an alcohol or drug addiction.

Our licensed and trained staff here at our Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation facility is aware of how painful the detoxification process tends to be as we have seen numerous clients suffer many unpleasant experiences, such as:

  • blacking out or passing out
  • dizzy spells accompanied by occasional fainting
  • erratic and sometimes violent behavior
  • hallucinations
  • nausea and vomiting
  • shaking, sweating, and uncontrollable twitching

It is important to fully comprehend how the alcohol and drug addiction process works in order to have a successful Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation.  First and foremost, our staff members understand the psychology behind the client’s addiction.  The conventional Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation facilities treat the person’s addiction by focusing primarily on the physical aspects while overlooking the emotional and mental ones as well.  Additionally, they rely on traditional therapies such as the 12-Step Program.

Unfortunately, the majority of the individuals who undergo these traditional alcohol and drug rehabilitation methods usually relapse once they return to society, becoming addicted once again to alcohol and drugs.  The conventional Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation facility can only boast a 20% success rate, whereas our rehab center has one of the highest success rates in the entire United States, typically averaging 70%.

Our certified and licensed staff members understand why the client’s addiction occurred in the first place although it is more severe with some individuals and not others.  We have conducted countless hours of research in order to accomplish our success rate with Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation and we understand the psychology behind the client’s addiction.  Discovering the actual cause of the addiction enables our staff to literally customize an Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation program which addresses the individual needs of the client.

Our clients are offered 8 courses or recovery tools that are rarely found in the traditional Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers inclusive of the following:

Better Communication and Perception Techniques – helps the client to deal with the present instead of dwelling on issues from their past.

Detoxification for a New Life
– traditional treatment and recovery facilities only address the physical aspects of addiction and do not address the emotional and mental ones as well.

Finding the Way to Happiness
– this course teaches our clients to replace the wrong “life codes” with the correct ones.

Improving One’s Learning Capabilities – our programs instruct the client in ways to re-learn information that is critical to the treatment and recovery process.

Life’s Changing Conditions
– focuses on coping with life’s changing conditions such as certain circumstances, events, and people who try to affect our attitudes.

Life’s Ups and Downs
– enables our clients to cope with the life’s ups and downs that are encountered in everyday living.

Personal Integrity and Values – accountability and responsibility are the key factors in this course which enable the client to deal with the consequences of their actions and addictive behavior.

Therapeutic Training Methods
– focuses on the addictive substance the client has fallen prey to in order to avoid any disconcerting feelings or situations.

The most common misconception held by society today is the assumption that since detoxification is the most difficult stage of the treatment and recovery process is such an unpleasant experience that they assume the addicted individual is deterred from ever relapsing again in the future.  This is completely false since alcohol and drug addictions are considered to be allergies of the human body and an obsession of one’s mind.  The cleansing and detoxification process is oftentimes lengthy depending on how severe the client’s addiction is as well as how long they have been addicted.
