New York Jets to Hire Rex Ryan as New Head Coach

The New York Jets have reportedly come to a four-year agreement with Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan to fill their vacant head coaching position.

New York wasted little time in making an official offer to Ryan, contacting him within an hour of the Ravens loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.

Terms of the contract have not been released but they are rumored to be in line with what the St. Louis Rams provided their new head coach Steve Spagnuolo. The former New York Giants defensive coordinator signed a four-year deal worth $11.5 million to take the St. Louis position.
