Novak
Djokovic took care of business in his first round match at the Australian Open
as the Serb beat Andrea Stoppini in straight sets 6-2, 6-3, 7-5 to advance to the
second round in Melbourne.
Djokovic
had 18 break point opportunities and converted on seven of those while
collecting eight aces and just one double fault.
Djokovic
is the defending Australian Open champion, his only Grand Slam title. Last year
he knocked off Jo-Wilfried Tsonga for the title.
