Willis McGahee Said to be “Neurologically Intact,” Pain Remains in Neck

While Baltimore Ravens running back Willis McGahee was carted off the field after sustaining what appeared to be a devastating injury doctors have confirmed that he was “neurologically intact” and was now just suffering neck pain.

 

McGahee was hit hard by Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark shortly after taking a pass from Joe Flacco. Both players hit the ground hard and Clark took some time before getting to his feet while McGahee remained on the turf.

 

McGahee could be seen moving is arms and legs after hitting the ground but he was placed on a stretcher and then taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for observation.
